The Week It Was

kalau org lain yg pegang camera, mmg muka aku jd gini. with wani and lemy.

No matter how long you have not meet your good friends, once gathered, we would simply continue where we dropped off previously. No moment of hesitation, awkward greetings, 'how are yous' sort of things. It's just..

"Woi!! pe citer? sampai ati eh kau biarkan aku present hari ni. tak tido malam aku buat slides tau. benci seh"

And laughed ourselves silly.

I got the chance to gather with my MLIS buddies, Wani and Lemy as we were forced (hehe) by our MLIS Sifu, Prof Zainab to present our papers at ICOLIS. How I miss those days when we were still students, chasing deadlines (datelines?), burning oil after oil preparing for exams, copying each other assignments. haha. Covering for each other if Prof Zainab asked on our whereabouts. Seriously, I miss you guys.

The conference was held from 26th-27th of June. It was my first time attending and presenting a paper, in an academic environment. being surrounded by professionals, professors dan segala PRO. Betapa pucatnye muka sebelum present. Makan pon tak lalu. Tido langsung jauh sekali.

The best part attending the conference was, we're able to see the fun and relax side of our lecturers. Yelah, sebelum ni nak hantar assignment, hutang tesis je. Of course they are serious. Tapi ni bila dah sama2 kumpul, I did not feel misplaced at all.

I think I grew up already. *giggles*

Best jugak being away from work once in a while. :)

Anyway, on my way back to JB, I have received an order for cupcakes. Dalam bas pn sempat berbisnes. I made those last nights. Lama tak masuk dapur and baking. It takes a while jugak la nak panaskan sendi2 yang dah lama tak sukat2 tepung ni. hehe

Feeq requested for chocolate cupcakes, warna yellow and green. nak corak2 cute. that's the cutest i could get, consider umur dah jauh bonar dari kategori cute. hehe. hope she likes the design!

Hmm.. once dah get into full swings, terasa nak baking lagi! watch this space. hehe
