Bliss

And so, i've finished the attachment w PSZ, UTM. An eye opener experience, priceless knowledge. Hope to be able to work there, one day.

Been busy finishing orders for Double Choc Chips COokies. Alhamdulilah, order has been pouring in eventhough was busy with work. Today would be the last day of baking cookies, and after this x larat nk tgk choc chip lagi.. hehe.. well maybe for a month or two ;). After this, im going to bake kuih utk rumah, experimenting w new tart recipes which is 'tart mangkuk'. kalau jadi nnti nampaklah gmbr kt blog.

Anyway, i had a new helper courtesy of Baba (thank you!). Helper ni merah menyala you. Been wishing to have one for yearsssss.. An early b'day present from Baba perhaps. Alhamdulillah, x la berpeluh2 nk mengadun kuih, jd kurang masin biskut tahun ni. hehe.

Oh, and mak bought a convection microwave oven before puasa. Kononnye senang nk panas2kn lauk nk bersahur. Since it has dual functions (microwave and convection oven), ended up im the only person using it. In addition to existing oven (yang meragam, bleh masuk only 35 pieces of cookies at a time) cepat sikit biskut2 tu dimasak. Amin..

On top of it, the choc cupcakes w choc fudge is a hit among adik's schoolmate. alhamdulillah. After raya, going to experiment w new recipe (from a new recipe book kakak bought for my upcoming birthday!!) :)

Fertile Fashionista

Have u ever had a moment, or certain days when you put a little bit more effort on dressing ups, wore your favourite dress/baju kurung/skirts or kebaya and being more feminine than usual? You picked up brighter colours, rather than those bleaky or subdued ones. On that day, you suddenly feel like putting an extra dab of powder on your nose, new shades of lipsticks, or even put more accessories than usual? And you appeared more fashionable than normal days!

I had those days. I would choose long skirts over jeans, heels over flat sandals, kebaya over baju kurung. Even rummaged through mom’s treasure chest and slipped one or two beaded bracelets on my wrist.

According to a research done by U.S researchers, fertile women dress to impress!! Hah!! So, that’s what happening huh? Unlike animals, which would emit certain scent or display some changes in skin colour when ovulating; human, on the other hand showed no clear sign of it. Hence, the existence of ovulating test kit for women who wants to get pregnant but unaware of the likeliest time to conceive! However, that would not be the case anymore, as reported by the studies, “Women would frequently wore more fashionable or flashier clothing and jewelry when they were ovulating, as assessed by a panel of men and women looking at their photographs.”

And so, when there comes a day someone said “Hey you look beautiful today,” “Wow.. mcm mak datin lah”, or get more cat or wolf whistles than usual, what do you know, you might be ovulating!

So, for those who have bite the dusts (read: married), work harder eh tonight? Ahah.

As for me, I would wait for the elusive ‘best friend’, which suddenly decided not to visit me during Ramadhan. How convenient.

Oh, haven’t I tell you, women are more likely to flirt and look at attractive men when they ovulate? Haha. Now ladies, we have our reasons!!!
