Sup Pronto!!

teringin nk post a new recipe i just created for my lunch alone at home. takut lupe n oso bcos easy to make utk org yg malas nk kuar g kedai cr campbell soup dlm tin. hehe

Sup pronto - tomato n potato creamy soup.

utk hidangan org bujang / anak dara (read : 1 org saja)

1/2 onion (the smallest u could find) - chopped
1 small garlic - chopped (optional)
1 medium sized tomato - cubed
1/2 potato - cubed
1 tbspoon butter / margerine
2 tbspoon low fat milk - powder OR 1/2 cup low fat milk
1 medium bowl (yg size arcopal pn ok) air rebusan ayam/daging/sayur.. or lk me.. air rebusan hotdog.. haha
1 tbspn tomato sos (optional)
mixed herb / oregano
pepper n salt to taste

Cara-caranya adalah

1. cairkn butter, campak onion dan bawang putih. tumis sampai layu
2. campak kentang n tomato. masukkn half air rebusan. biar didih.
   
3. masukkn susu tepung yg dibancuh dgn air rebusan lebih tu. kalo guna susu da siap.. tuang je terus along w the rest of air rebusan. let simmer.
4. season to taste w sos, mixed herb, pepper n salt.
5. bile kentang da empuk, matikn api.
6. sejukkn sup sikit (nk cpt..rendam periuk dlm air.. esp time da lapar)
7. masukkn dlm blender.. kalo suke ketul2 n x nk creamy can skip this part
   
8. tuang blk dlm periuk . simmer lg sket. agak2 pekat
   
9. SORU!

sedap makan kalo mmg tgh mengidam sup. w roti. nyam nyam

WARNING - SANGAT MENGENYANGKN.. mkn dgn roti je.. jgn ngade2 nk makan dgn benda lain. mengah x jamin.

Talapia goreng berempah

5 biji bawang putih
1 sudu besar ketumbar
3cm kunyit
1/2 inci halia
1 batang serai
1 biji cili merah
garam sesuka hati

bahan2 kat atas di tumbuk. kalo malas mcm ana, kasi blender je semua (muscle lengan lemah ler)

ikan talapia merah, beli kt carrefdour/ giant, mintak buang perut skali.
air asam jawa / limau

ikan cuci bersih2. xyah sabunkn. rendam air asam utk hilangkn hamis2 ikan. da lap bersih2, kasi lumur bedak sejuk bahan2 yg ditumbuk td. perap selama mana nak dlm peti sejuk.

boleh buat many2 days in advance utk kesan yg lebih menggiurkn.

goreng garing2. kalo ade hangus2 sket tu xpe.. hitam itu menawan..

selamat menampung air liur.

3. doing the laundry esp folding clothes. therapeutic.
4. go out with my fruit-heart (read: buah hati) for a date/movies/makan2.
5. a steaming bowl of soto ayam (read: bukan air panas masin + kiub ayam) complete w begedil and sambal kicap cili api. soto babat pn lagi best
   
6. french fries gemuk. yg mcm kt nando's or swensen tu. LJS nye fries pn best.
   
7. the bronze ring w tiny diamante which my fruit-heart bought me. shiny shiny bling bling.
   

Se7en most important things in my room :

1. glorious bed w clean n crisp bed linen. must must. 2 pillows. jac (optional)
   
2. full-length mirror. women ARE vain.
3. chest of drawers and wardrobe. k Fida, mine is going to burst soon too.
   
4. curtains. takkan nk buat wayang kulit with neighbours kan?
5. my toiletries, mini-wax for facial hair (arghh..), tweezer n eyebrow pencil (disaster happens, now my eyebrow da senget sebelah), perfumes, bedak cutticura.
6. yassin n quran.
7. a bed partner (jawatan kosong)
   

Se7en random facts about me :

1. the mole below my right eyes is getting bigger. Kakak suggested to see a dermatologist about it. but whenever i went for my appointment with my cosmetic surgery consultant (for my acne la.. haha) i forgot to mention the mole. get rid of the zits then deal w the mole laterlah
   
2. am not good in hiding my emotion. takes time to cool down. i hold grudge(s) too. woah, sgt negative.
   
3. im still with the same person i met and tripped-in-love with 7 yrs ago.
   
4. i can wriggle my ears.
5. i don't drive eventhough i have driving license.
6. initially was scared of riding a bike when my fruit-heart first bought his bike. now, i can even sleep while riding. skill x skill tu. tinggal bawak kusyen utk sandar kt box. ahah. makcik-style
   
7. i sangatla tak reti nk handle org yg tgh marah atau merajuk. niat baik bertukar buruk jadinye kang. haha

4. travel ala 'amazing race' w my fruit-heart. bcos i need someone who can drive n hv good sense of direction. i tukang baca map je la kn. baca aje. tukang cheer skali. tukang ambik gambar.

6. contribute to the community - create a mini library/recreational centre for children n youth.
7. hypnotise a tiger to lie on its back.n slowly garu the chin and belly. seriously. the bulu very inviting la.

1. main game sampai mata berpinar2 when im supposed to write critical reviews for my chapter 2.
   
2. cook a scrumptious meal. but with help from Kakak to adjust the taste. i takut garam.
   
3. finished my assignments on time (yes, i actually can do it)
   
4. tell off people who cut queue. complete w mata fishball n flaring nostrils.
   
5. be a goody two shoes. haha
6. assembling things - DIY thing. manual provided.

3. control my temper w Adik. im sorry ok. i hate when i get mad at u. and yes, i do love u. n no, there's no jealousy involved. (Adik was born when after im being manjaed for 10 years. heck, im still manja w my mom. meleseh and all. haha)
4. stop cat-calling. ey, i cat-call bukan kt minah-minah ok. i cat-call - CATS la. pantang nampak kucing, even while in the car/on bike mesti panggil. "meoww... come here.. here kitty2... meowwww". mesti nk garu dagu/dahi. mesti. mesti. Mak kata maybe i could talk to cats. hehe. im gifted!!

A quick recap.

1. spent the whole week burning midnite oil playing pinball n free cells writing critical reviews for chapter 2.
2. and the end results - only 6 pages, 6 PAGES!! i need to have fourteen to fifteen pages of literature reviews. haiyoo.
3. met prof zainab to report my progress. WHAT PROGRESS?? (exactly...)
   
4. actually it's FORTY to FIFTY pages. yes ham, im sure it's forTY not forTEEN. help me
   
5. latest update on "projek choco chip deluxe - only use the best butter, flour, sugar n chocs" - 11 balang dah diorder for raya. anyone else nk buat tempahan? 1 balang(50 biji/keping(?) biskut) - RM 15.
6. since there's no spring in m'sia. it's raya cleaning part I - changed the curtains - iye, langsir baru kt kamdar tgh murah.. dan lawa..
   
7. bought a new baking oven(!) and food mixer (!!) it's not baby belling or kenwood.. nevertheless it's working well.. i hope. hehe (thanks to baba.. penyuntik modal)
   
8. Kakak finally graduated. She received her master n 'her master' was also there. Sweet, i know.

10 YEARS AGO I:
1. was in sec. 1
2. had my hair really short. ppl often mistaken me as 'the 2nd son'
3. had a 1st taste of same-sex crush. no, we're not queer. it's a 'girls' sch thing'. kakak angkat-adik angkat phase.

FIVE YEARS AGO I:
1. was 18.
2. had my 1st job after spm. 3 weeks before entering matrix kuala pilah
3. was involved in 'aktiviti skema' - ketua block, student council. bla bla.
4. was a total wreck. emotionally and physically. nearly lost my best-friends. my studies suffered. zaman kegelapan di kuala pilah.

TWO YEARS AGO I:
1. was 21. final (dark) yr in UM
2. lost 7 kg.
3. total zombie - struggling for my final year project. made 1 enemy - who PROMISED (actual conversation - "syana byk tlg saya sampai saya dpt kerja baru, dpt pc baru. saya xtau mcm mana nk balas, jd saya janji saya akan bantu syana w ur thesis") to help me w my web-portal but chicken out in the last minute bcos GIRLFRIEND X KASI!! stooopid. both of them. janji ta*k kerbau kaki pendek

ONE YEAR AGO I:
1. graduated top of my class. 1 of 2 malay students who scored cgpa more than 3.50 for my course.did my parents really proud.
2. started my master's degree program in lib. n info science.
3. realized had a very bad sense of direction - esp in KL

YESTERDAY I:
1. cleaned the hse but forgot the fans
2. fetch my mom frm KLIA
3. ate the least delicious sizzling mee (but most expensive - at rm7.50 per serving)

TODAY I:
1. woke my man @ 6.30am for his 1st day @ work then continue sleeping.

actually, the reason for me not updating my blog as often as before is.. i've found a new love - bloghopping. i knew im not a gd writer. but im a gd reader. hehe. so instead of checking my blog, i'd religiously check othrs.. kepoh ke aku ni nk tau kesah hidup org? berkobar2 nk tgk ade latest update ke x.. mcm putus cinta je kalo xde.. then check agn.. usually when i found a new blog that i found interesting, i would bookmarked it n start reading from the very beginning of the blog.. dont want to miss the bandwagon la kan.. how i read n choose which blog might represents me.. in real life.. kalo kasi ape2.. i wud search the backgrd..kaji dalam2.. kasi paham.. sbb frm there baru terbit interest to get to know ur subject more..

alangkah bagusnya if i use the same approach for my thesis. haha. sampai skang lom jumpe prof zainab to report my progress. masalahnye, progress nye tu xde.. nk repot ape.. hehe.

oh.. n thru his.. i hopped to sultanmuzaffar . i love susunan bahasa dia. n he has many reviews on malay movies.

instructions. saya kagum dgn susunan bahasa, gaya penyampaian pemiliknye. kagum atas kebijaksanaannya, kepetahannya, kefasihannya dalam 3 bahasa - melayu, inggeris dan perancis. rumpun kita. indah coretannya.

n there's also one blog.. sorg wanita melayu (terakhir?) di okinawa. since kecik2, im fascinated w anythin japanese. sampai beli kamus jepun dok hafal sket2. then join any opportunities amik adik angkat jepun (asal la bukan abg angkat ek? hahah). its amazing to see betapa kuatnya genetik org jepun ni. india melayu kawin jepun.. tp offspring semua jepun2 belaka.. sapa kate makan tempe otomatik jd jawa? makan kari otomatik jd mamak? haha (btw, tempe org jepun mmg makan.. kari lagila.. siap nk patented as theirs.. ape kesssss??)
