UM lib : hv u renew ur registration? what's ur X504 number? we will check 4 u (time aku ckp omputih die ckp melayu.. ni aku ckp melayu.. die speaking plak..)

me : yes. i did that last saturday. it's X504***** .

UM lib : it says here ur membership expires on jun 05... oh wait.. no.. on dec 05. let me check using my acct.. (3 sec ltr) there seems no prob in accessing the lib portal. perhaps the server hasnt updated the last transaction..

me : (dlm hati)* igt ni zmn dulu2 kapa.. guna batch processing.* hmm.. bcos i move ard quite often n dis is imptnt for me to be able to access the portal remotely.. (amik ko bahasa IT)

UM lib : y don i gv u dis number.. 7964 **** and asked for *mr whatever*. perhaps they cud check the server n speed up the process. oh wait (chuckle) mr *whatever* just left.. try to call back in 5 mins time..

lady : die keluar minum (and it's 11 am!!! x lame lg kn nk lunch??!). tepon balik dlm 10 min

me : ...... (so much of "need 30 mins to settlekn prob w server".. ckp je la nk minum dulu... hampeh)

so i did as told.. n it turns out that there's nothing wrong w my renewal or watever.. it's the firewall in my PC dat deterred me frm login to the portal.

membazir je aku mengeluh2 kt org library.

nmpk sah we wud always find sum1 else to blame or the system or e'thing. we're to quick to point our finger elsewhere but ourself. pdhal the prob is right in front of ur eyes..
