IQ and EQ

im back in jb. mainly bcos my dad needs my help to set the exam papers for him. i work for my dad u see. n occasionally for my mom.i think it's time for teachers to have an assistant.its not an easy task being a teacher nowadays. i somewhat disagree when sum ppl wud resolved to teaching only as a last choice of employment. teaching is a very noble job. u're responsible in moulding the future of the nxt generation. in some ways ur opinions n advices influence decision made by student themselves. teaching shud be a passion. not simply a mere profession.

a devoted teacher wudnt mind going extra miles in educating their children. different methods of teaching which does not consists of reading off textbooks, teach them not only subjects to survive in school but in life as well. education in m'sia or s'pore are seen as exam-based. students study their asses off n obtain significants grades. their IQ's shot to hundred points. but what abt their EQ? Emotional Intelligence Quotient which is more important for personal growth. Having a capacity or skill alone is not enough to create real-world results.

“Emotional intelligence is the ability to sense, understand, and effectively apply the power and acumen of emotions as a source of human energy, information, trust, creativity and influence.”

There is an intelligence based on emotion, and people who have this capacity are less depressed, healthier, more employable, and have better relationships.
