Food glorious food. Not only Kakak get to see his lahling during the weekend, i got to see mine too! ;) along with a tempting treat (from Himself) of korean bbq at Seoul Garden. yum yum!
Last time we went out for a date was during Raya. 1 month++ of not seeing each other made this date a special one. We're also celebrating our many-many years of anniversary plus belated birthday celebrations (for both of us). Him being a person who doesn't like celebrating his own b'day (his was months months ago.. 9 months ago), while mine was in the middle of Ramadhan and not too far from our anniversary, we've decided to roll everything in one. ;)
I started my journey at 9.40am from home; my bro dropped me off at City Square and i made my way to the immigration and board the yellow Causeway Link bus. I started to fidgeting in my seat. Traffic jam in the causeway is unpredictable nowadays. Kalau x jam kt causeway, jam time cop paspot. But somehow, i think i've missed a flying pig because as i reached S'pore immigrations, there's only a SHORT.. realllly short line of people waiting to stamp their passport. 10.10am my passport was ready.at 10.20am, i've reached Kranji MRT. Our meeting place. Alamak.. cepat betul. Himself baru pas mandi. ahah. Apa lagi, kepala pn ligat pusing cari idea nk mintak Himself belanje ape for being late. *evil grin*
10 minutes later, my knight on shining bike pon sampai. (Not so) penat menunggu pon terus hilang. Macam2 keajaiban berlaku eh kt orang yg bercinta ni. haha. Since it was too early for lunch, we went to Sim Lim first to check out Creative mp3 player. And i've set my eyes on this
After that, went to Seoul Garden only to find the restaurant was fully booked. Put our name in the waiting list and spent the time with a bit of window shopping in Bugis Junction, lepaking by the water fountain (erm, why called it a fountain, when the water shoots from the ground?) while savouring the delectable Old Chang Kee's currypuffs. Nak simpan perut for all you can eat buffet, tapi da lapar tahap dewa! We waited and waited and waited. Lastly at 2.00 pm, the phone call came and the 2 hungry people finally got their seats.1 1/2 hours later...

The aftermath. At the bottom of the pic is our 3rd bowl of ice cream. Note that the grill is so thick with grease, that's the main reason we stopped eating. :D
We were a happy lots with wide grins and expanded belly.
