How to survive a long-distance journey with ur cats
Wednesday, June 01, 2005
- feed ur cat an hour BEFORE starting ur journey. so the cat has plenty of time to relief itself - 'bowelly'
- 10 mins b4 ur journey, put the cat inside its cage so it will oriented itself to its very much reduced territory. u may want to use a glove/mitten to do this (if u hv cat lk mine - all teeth and claws)
- once u're in the car. u can release the cat
- bring along any strong smelled ointment - i.e minyak kapak, tiger balm. no, ur cat wont experience any moton sickness, but i found out that the cat hated the smell so we rub it on the driver's (my dad) arms so it wont jump on him while he's driving.
- bring along old newspapers/used clothes - accidents might happen. (refer no. 1)
- when uve reached ur destination, release the cat instantly. make sure the litterbox is ready beforehand. like ppl, they also need to go to toilet aftr a long journey.
- not recommended 4 ppl who is allergic to cats
good luck.
